First of all sorry for this wall of text in russian but i don't know english enough to say that all in it.

тезис 1. IB реально доставляющая карта. комментировать смысла нету, кроме факта полной остановки развития. псайрус имхо положил болт на мапу, после загубленного не по его вине конкурса от близов. деньги не главное, бла-бла-бла. а вот и нет. загубить столько времени в сей проект и ничерта не получить?! - я бы и сам подуныл. следует заметить, что комьюнити форума состоит из менне чем 200 человек, оценок у карты мало, и в неё сейчас уже не играют. делаю вывод: нужен перезапуск \ нормальный запуск карты в sc2.

тезис 2. нужно постоянно поддерживать проект. обновлений не было почитай уже полгода (эта 2.0 и не обновление по-сути, а патч). олд фаги ушли, новых игроков нет, т.к. карта сложная (даже для хорошей пати). предлагать упростить бессмыслено, т.к. это и есть IB. с другой стороны народ надо как-то завлекать. как я писал тут, на форуме, жизнено важно разнообразить игровой процесс. сейчас это только гонка дпс, но это уже совсем другая история. (влезать в концепцию карты я не хочу, но что-то сделать надо)

тезис 3. игра ориентирована на определенную категорию игроков. это хардкорщики (в легком смысле ^_^). нужно расширить контингент. свистелки-прделки и т.д. + донат, который я ранее предлагал, но, по-видимому, псайрус и на это забил.

тезис 4. сделать столко работы и забить? вы серьезно? карта не для конкурса, это конкурс для карты! в самом начале нам было обещано, что будет дохера новых героев, боссов. я понимаю, что псайрусу лень, нет времени или жена заела, но как так?! отпусти карту на вольные хлеба если сам не можешь продолжать. идея карты, как я её увидел, состоит в эпичных, чрезвычайно сложных и комплексных боях с превосходящими силой противниками. НО этот момент безбожно похерен анлимом попыток и простым задротством. каждый бой должен быть уникальным, а сейчас меняется только порядок каста абилок и имена игроков в пати. никакого кастома, все по-рельсам. Это же не демо-версия в конце-концов!

заключение / conclusion

Psyris, please do something about this masterpiece! share it with community, patch, hire ppl, or whatever. IB is seems to be abandoned now and thats the most awful thing happened to me as gamer past few years. im really disappointed. tbh IB is the second map ive ever liked in entire wc3\sc2 alongside with youtd.

It seems like the map has died off on SC2. I think the biggest factor here is the core of the game only appeals to the hardcore. It just throws a lot of complexity at players out of the gate and doesn't ease them into it. So those that aren't willing to learn and find capable players... Well, that's a lot to ask. It was the biggest issue going into the contest and I'm surprised I made it as far as I did for that reason.

IB isn't dead. It's just in limbo. I can't do what I want because I'm lacking assets. I'd like to add new classes, but models continue to be an issue. I'm considering porting it over to Heroes of the Storm (which has an editor that might be released soon considering it's close to beta) with a lot of big changes. Assets won't be a problem there. I've been thinking about the direction I want to take it. So we'll see.

@Incendiis Sadly in SC2 it is very hard to find people for just about any custom game (no matter how brilliant they are), with the few exceptions being the extremely popular maps such as "Mines and Magic" or "Mafia".

If only SC2 would have been as optimized and rich as War3, it would have more players and we probably wouldn't have that problem. But instead of that, SC2 became a game that requires high specs to look half decent and that isn't even finished on some points (for example: I really hate that the medivac speed-boost spell doesn't have any graphical effect but a mere duration bar)

@Psyris Can't you import some War3 or WoW models for new classes? You've always been doing that so im not too sure whats holding you back :s

Humanoid WoW models look very out of place scaled down. I'm only using WoW models for bosses. The only model taken directly from War3 was the priest with some minor touch-ups. That can be done for other classes, but it's not a very appealing option (especially when HotS is just around the corner). I'm looking forward to giving IB a fresh start there with new modes and other changes.

Not sure about legal aspects, but i have found a m3 compiler of wow models with gearing, for example its possible to dress human into Nightslayer armor set http://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=619 with any weapon. In my pour art imagination exactly this one set is fit for IB. Nevertheless i failed importing due that programme always crushes for some reason, but im sure there are some analogs.

I must be the one to complain about hero variability, but i still miss it lot more than modes or bosses.
I have tried epic boss battles or whatever its named, but it has absolutely no challenge and no difference between heroes. IB has it alot, but for so many games played and well done balance there is absolutely no way to change skill rotation and heroes picked most times, unless someone fails something.

I do have absolutely no idea on what heroes are planned, but can only hope there will be some surprises.

I recently got invited to Heroes of the Storm alpha and I realized the game had lots of very cool and diverse assets, can't wait to see hots IB, gl psy :D
